Collecting Background Information
The process begins with the collection of background data about the candidate via two short questionnaires completed by the parents and school/college. This provides an insight into the strengths of, and difficulties experienced by, the student both academically and socially, as well as providing information about links to dyslexia in the family history.

Discussion with school and parents will decide where the assessments will take place. This would take into consideration where the student would feel at ease for the assessment.
This could be at the child's school, at the child's home or at my home office.
I have a full and current DBS check.

The assessments take approximately 3hrs with breaks.
Standardised Assessments Marked
Standardised Assessments Marked
Assessments marked and standardised for attainment in literacy, underlying ability and cognitive processing.
Diagnostic Assessment Report Generated
Diagnostic Assessment Report Generated
A full diagnostic report will be completed including suggestions for future support in their educational setting.
Report will usually be completed within 1 week of assessments.
